Life is not a dream

We should not take up this life as a dream. This life is not a dream. this life is a reality. We have come here to live a life and therefore, we should not keep death in our mind and remain in constant fear of death. Death shall come one day and therefore, we should not wait for our death. Death may come one day, but we should ignore that day and live a life which has been given to us. If we remain in constant fear of death, we shall not be able to work and live a life. We shall have to ignore it and we must think and we must have hope in our mind that we shall live and shall be completing a century and we must plan our life for this tenure of one century.
It is very right that in all the great books the wise people had been calling us and had been advising us that we should take death as the ultimate goal of this life and we should prepare ourselves for our death. It does not mean that we should remain in constant fear of death. It can mean that we should try to finish our works in time so that we may not be leaving more works incomplete when we die. We are to give answer and account when we die and therefore, we should try to avoid this face to face talk with God. He, who had sent us on this earth with some mission shall be asking us our accounts and if we had not completed the task given to us, then there are chances that we shall be punished. Therefore, we should not waste our time when we are here on this earth and we should keep in our mind the missions which have been allotted to us by God and we should complete and finish those missions in our life time.
Death shall be there, but the time which had been allotted to us shall not be shortened by God. He shall allow us to live till the completion of our tenure and therefore, instead of having fear of death, we should try to finish our works and should keep death in mind that it may come so early. Therefore, whatever mission we have taken in our hand that must be completed with all our efforts, strength and wisdom and we should not depend upon others and see that the work allotted to us shall be finished by others. The missions which had been allotted to us must be completed by us and that too within the allotted period of life. This life is divided into parts and when we shall be old, we shall not be able to finish our work because we shall not be having all the strength and energy which are with us when we are young.
In most of the great books they talk that we should recite religious books time and again and that too during our youth. This must be limited to keeping in mind the existence of God and we must believe that He is present with us at all the time and we should never ignore His presence. Sitting and reciting religious books for hours was never demanded by God because He wants only that His children must keep His presence in their mind and especially when they are dealing with others. If we are not following the guidelines given in religious books, then there is no fund in wasting time in reciting the works time and again. We must be sorry to note that we have started religious books time and again, but up till now we could not adopt the guidelines in our day to day life and we are still committing all types of crimes, all types of sins and all types of misconducts and all the police stations, all the courts and all the jails are full to their capacity. We are under fear of death, but when we are committing all these crimes, all these sins and all these misconducts, we are not having in our mind the fear of death. So fear of death is always mis-utilized by us. We may keep death in our mind while fixing our time table and nothing more than that.
