Embracing Change

There are times in our lives when we become comfortable with life just as it is. We yearn for our circumstances to miraculously change for the better but we do nothing other than wish and hope for things to spontaneously become better. Day after day, month after month, year after year we find ourselves talking about the same conditions yet we do nothing to facilitate a change. We often get stuck because on some level we are afraid of the unknown. Even though our present circumstances are unfulfilling and making us miserable. I am inspired by a person that I met who without hesitation embraced changed. When they told me their personal story, I likened it to jumping off a cliff and discovering that they could not only fly but they were also able to soar. It really doesnt matter in what area of life you would like for changes to occur. That is what you will have to do if you desire to see drastic improved results in your life.

Steps You Will Need to Take in Order to Facilitate a Change

While writing this, I am being very general because the techniques provided can be used to facilitate change in any area of your life. The 1st step to embracing change is to know what needs to change. You have that part down already because you and I both know that your best friends and perhaps even some family members have heard you complaining about the changes you desire so often that they just mouth the words right along with you as you speak. The 2nd step is to discover what is holding you back from moving forward. Ask yourself, what are you afraid of? When you become clear about your fears, its time to take a good look at them, challenge them, and lay them to the side. The 3rd step is to devise a plan. Put it in writing so that you can be really clear about the steps that you will need to take to reach your desired outcome. If you need help in this area, ask somebody! Your family and friends love you and they are tired of hearing the same conversation day after day. Im sure they already have a plan devised for you, but because youve been so busy complaining you havent taken the time to listen or youve become offended by the suggestions that they have offered you. If what you have been doing is not working for you, its time to do something else. Go ahead, give it a try! Now you have the plan, the 4th step is to work it!
Intentions + Actions = Results

When you have become clear and established your intentions the action steps must be administered in order to achieve results. Please remember with most things, especially life changing things, it takes time to see results. Dont allow F.E.A. R. (false evidence appearing real) to rob you of your ability to fly. As with the person that shared their story with me, you too just might discover that you too can soar!
